Pattern – Switchgrass Scarf

Description

One of the most important grasses in the American Tallgrass Prairie, which used to reach from Texas to Wisconsin, Switchgrass grows tall and graceful. Cattle grazing the prairie love it, as do people who take a moment to catch their breath in the amazing Tallgrass Prairie.

The Switchgrass Scarf is worked from end to end. Beads represent seed heads, and they add a nice weight to the piece, although the scarf can be knit without them if desired.

This is a single pattern from the book Deep Roots – Patterns Inspired by the Tallgrass Prairie

Yarns we recommend for this scarf are Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply Lace and Lost City Silk.

Thank you for choosing to purchase a Lost City Knits pattern.
