Each September for the past few years we’ve attended a large music festival in Winfield, Kansas. For several weeks the groves come alive with music – bluegrass and folk primarily. The evenings can get nippy when wandering the groves moving from campsight to campsight listening to the voices and instruments of the many talented campers. This simple scarf was inspired by nights when I longed for something to chase away the chill, allowing me to linger into the wee hours.
The Pecan Grove Scarf pattern depicts the opposite leaf composition of pecan trees. You’ll have to supply the dulcimer, guitar, fiddle, or upright bass yourself. Twang is optional.
