I woke during the night with dreams of bright and beautiful yarns dancing through my mind. Next waking brought a pattern inspired by my friend Lisa Brandborg. You’ve probably seen Lisa’s name on my blog before, she’s our farmer’s market manager and her animals are the source for most of the llama and alpaca fiber that I have milled into yarn.
It could be that an expected order of yarn is making its way on snow-packed and slick highways from the mill back to our farm in Oklahoma. I’m not really sure if it is or not, but I feel the pull of fiber and the dyepot, as well as spring which means a return to the market and weekly visits with friends.
Above is a photo of Lisa at the Market Manager’s booth at Cherry Street. Along side her is Don, our Assistant Market Manager.
Details of the pattern will follow before long. Sketches, charts, test dyes, and a call to Lisa must occur first.
