Sara – I need to get McMurty’s other books to read. I do love his work.

I also enjoy his son James’ music. Sometimes the lyrics sting just a bit.

And I think that blocking is more magical than the first time wearing. Every time I see a pic of myself in a new shawl I think “dang, my butt looks huge.” or “damn, my hair’s got a mind of it’s own.” There’s something so inspirational and untouched about a shawl on blocking wires–like new fallen snow.
