Just a few yards from my studio on our farm sits an old oak barn. It’s not square and plumb anymore, but it’s a tough old thing and has seen many uses it its day.
As appropriate to any lace knitter’s stash as an old oak barn is to an Oklahoma farm, this merino lace weight yarn is my go-to for fine projects. I find it is especially susceptible to the magic of blocking, which makes an already impressive project even more so.
Named for the old stove in the farmhouse, which has seen many years of use.
